Beyond Hearing and Speech offers unique listening therapy to adults who use hearing aids and cochlear implants. Hearing loss can often be frustrating. Auditory rehabilitation bridges the gap from the audiologist office to effectively using hearing devices in everyday life. Therapy is built unique to each client starting with a FREE consultation where you will learn how Auditory Rehabilitation will benefit you.

FREE Consultation
Initial Evaluation
Your hearing journey starts here. You will meet with Grace to share you hearing loss history. She will explain Auditory Rehab and make recommendations specific to you.
Sit down with Grace while she takes a deep dive to assess your hearing loss and its impact on your listening and communication skills. She will provide a individualized assessment along with a detailed report providing data and treatment goals to enhance your communication using your listening devices.

Auditory Rehab Treatment Sessions
Grace will provide thoughtful therapy sessions designed to target specific listening goals. Sessions will be a mix of analytical and synthetic training exercises. Sessions can include communication partners and be held out in community where listening breakdowns happen most often (restaurants, stores, bank etc).
Meet Grace Brody M.A. CCC-SLP
Grace Brody is a graduate from The University of Akron. She is a licensed Speech Language Pathologist who took a special interest in working with adults with Hearing Loss after discovering a gap in treatment that left her clients often feeling isolated and frustrated with their hearing loss. Grace is determined to close that gap and create a practice that is dedicated to helping adults gain listening confidence using hearing devices.
