Auditory rehabilitation uses both analytical and synthetic listening training to improve speech understanding after hearing loss.
Analytical training focuses on distinguishing individual speech sounds, while synthetic training strengthens comprehension of sentences and conversations.
Together, they help the brain listen more clearly, efficiently, and confidently in everyday situations.

Auditory rehabilitation bridges the gap from the audiologist office to effectively using hearing devices in everyday life. Therapy is built unique to each client starting with a FREE complimentary consultation where you will learn how Auditory Rehabilitation will benefit you.

Initial Evaluation
Your path to more listening confidence starts here.
You will meet with your therapist to share you hearing loss history. She will explain Auditory Rehab and make a therapy plan specific to you.
Your therapist will take a deep dive assessing your hearing loss and its impact on your listening and communication skills. She will provide an individualized assessment along with a detailed report providing data and treatment goals to enhance your communication using your listening devices.

Auditory Rehab Treatment Sessions
You will begin therapy sessions designed to target specific listening goals. Sessions will be a mix of analytical and synthetic training exercises. Sessions can include communication partners and be held out in community where listening breakdowns happen most often (restaurants, stores, bank etc).
Meet Grace Brody M.A. CCC-SLP
Grace Brody is a licensed Speech Language Pathologist who took a special interest in working with adults with Hearing Loss after discovering a gap in treatment that left her clients often feeling isolated and frustrated with their hearing loss, even while wearing hearing devices.
Grace is determined to help close the gap and has created a practice dedicated to helping adults regain listening confidence.
